Terms of Service
Effective date: July 31, 2026
1. Agreement
CancelIntel ("the Service") is operated by dietsoda.dev. By creating an account or embedding our widget you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What CancelIntel is
CancelIntel serves a small JavaScript widget that asks one question inside your cancellation flow and stores the answers for you to read and export. You embed it on pages you control, and you decide what the question says.
3. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the content of your question, for telling your own users what you collect, and for having a lawful basis to collect it. You must not use the widget to collect payment details, passwords, health data, or other sensitive categories of personal data. You must not use the Service to obstruct a cancellation your customer is entitled to complete.
4. Trial, billing, and cancellation
New accounts get a 7-day trial. After the trial the Service costs $19 per month, billed through Stripe until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your billing portal; your subscription runs to the end of the paid period and is not pro-rated. When an account is not on an active paid plan we stop recording new answers — your existing answers stay readable and exportable.
5. Limits
Plans include up to 3 surveys and 2,000 answers per calendar month. Answers beyond the limit are not stored. Submissions are rate limited per IP address to keep the Service usable for everyone.
6. Availability
The Service is provided as-is, without warranty. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The widget is designed to fail open: if our backend is unreachable, it gets out of the way and your cancellation flow continues normally.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
8. Termination
You may delete your surveys and stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend an account that abuses the Service, attempts to access another account's data, or uses the widget to collect data prohibited by section 3.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date above; continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.
